Getting Started

At Roadteam, we appreciate that your time is precious.  So when you call us for a quote, we strive to minimise the amount of time you spend on the telephone.  To make this possible, please consider the following before you make the call.

Commercial Motor Product

We'll need to know the size of your fleet and the nature of the goods you carry.  The make and model of your vehicles, their carrying capacity, the value/sum insured and KM radius travelled (as the crow flies) are important to us too.

Please also tell us how many years you've been in business, whether you subcontract to a prime contractor, and if you require a trailer or agitator in control.

We'll need to know about your drivers too.  Please tell us how many drivers you have along with each driver's date of birth, license class and date of classification, claims/accident history, any driving offences or license suspensions, physical or mentail ailments and any criminal convictions.

Liability Product

Please provide a brief description of your business, your estimated annual turnover and detail the number of sub-contractors and their wages and/or details of other labour hired.  This will help us to understand you level of risk and recommend the right protection.

Marine Cargo Product

We'll need to understand the size of your company's gross freight earnings and the limit of your conveyance in order to prepare your marine cargo quote.

Business Interruption Product

Please tell us the length of indemnity you're seeking and your preferred waiting period.  We'll also need to know your weekly revenue, less running costs.
